Wood Blocks

The Maytown Historical Society Woodblock Buildings collection started in 1989, with a different building being selected every year from the village of Maytown. The woodblock buildings have always been a popular souvenir, and they represent one of the major fund-raising opportunities for the MHS.

Our woodblock buildings are made by Columbia artist, Phil Haberstroh, on a limited edition basis, with only 150 numbered and, in special cases, such as those involving churches, schools, or other institutions, several un-numbered models.
